Recolte Blanc-2

2013 Baillie-Grohman Recolte Blanc

The rich textural palate with a long finish and great balance displays elements of tropical fruit, melon and white flowers.

2013 Fort Berens

Our estate grown 2013 Riesling is slightly off dry. Aromas of fresh tree fruits shine against a mineral background of wet slate. Crisp tart apple and a zesty acidity are balanced by sweet peach and honey crisp apple. Age worthy, or enjoy it now with rich creamy sauces and pungent cheese.

On Friday June 27th, from 4 – 7, Jennifer Molgat, president of The View Winery will be down to pour her wines.  The attractive Mrs. Molgat has a passion for shoes as can be seen on her wine labels and in her departure from the usual recommending food and wine pairings.  Be sure to check out her funny/racy videos at http://www.theviewwinery.com/videos

On Saturday June 28th, from 3-6, Catherine, the rep for Sage Hills will be pouring:

2012 Pinot Gris

Our Pinot Gris grapes are organic, estate grown and hand harvested in whole grape clusters at 1.75 tons per acre, which results in an intensity of flavours seldom found at this price point.  A ‘Champagne’ program was used to ferment and cool slowly, preserving the freshness of the fruit and allowing lees contact for four months.  It has a crisp clean bouquet of pineapple, cantaloupe and apricot with a hint of kiwi on the palate.  We have created our Pinot Gris to pair beautifully with many foods: West Coast, Thai, spicy Southern dishes, etc.

2012 Gewürztraminer

Our Gewürztraminer grapes are organic, estate grown and hand harvested in whole grape clusters at 1.5 tons per acre with the canopy managed carefully throughout the season to allow for maximum light and sun exposure

Highly aromatic, this hedonistic wine has delightful notes of lychee and pear that are intense and pure with a sliver of sweetness on the finish for perfect balance & harmony.  A wonderful and versatile pairing for all kinds of Asian foods as well as Indian curries, this BC Gewürztraminer is meant for your dining table

2012 Syrah Rosé

Our delicious Rosé is an Intervin Award winner – Honours 2013.

It is made from 100% organic Syrah grapes that were harvested at 2 tons per acre, which brings a heightened level of flavour and aroma to this wine

Clusters were hand-sorted, cold soaked, pressed to tank for cold settling and then fermented in stainless steel with lees contact for four months to create our Syrah Rosé.  This BC Wine, bursts with fragrant aromatics, flavours of strawberries, hints of pepper and spice ensure perfect pairing with many foods or on its own

On Tuesday, July 1st, they’ll be pouring some celebratory bubbly.  Stop by for a taste of:

2012 Haywire The Bub
