If you are enjoying a summer vacation in Osoyoos, or staying there while touring the many excellent wineries in the area, Jojo’s Café is the place to go for breakfast or lunch. I’ve been here twice for breakfast and will definitely be back for lunch next time.
Customers make their selection from a chalkboard menu on the wall and place their order at the counter. The selection is not extensive, but the food is fresh and locally sourced. Lunch items include made-to-order sandwiches such as Roast Turkey, Toasted Shrimp, Vegetarian and the classic BLT. Homemade soups include Clam Chowder, Tomato, Carrot Ginger, Turkey Vegetable, Borscht and Black Bean. Home baked treats are the perfect accompaniment for their selection of great coffees including Americanos, Cappuccinos, Lattes and Mochas. I only drink tea and was lucky enough to enjoy an excellent spiced chai with my Eggs Benny breakfast. Another popular morning option is the Breakfast Sandwich – egg, back bacon, cheese and tomato on an English muffin.
It’s a popular place and the outside seating is always filled on sunny days.
Jojo’s Café is located at 8316 Main Street in Osoyoos and is open from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, daily.
