Bronze medal
Tasted 2014 10
Lemon yellow in colour with medium intensity. Aromas of honey and pleasing varietal character on the nose, with delicate stone fruit, lychee and spice. Good balance. The palate shows flavours of tree and tropical fruit along with honey and a medium finish. This wine is similar to gewürztraminers from Alsace. At four years old, this wine would have been fresher and more fruit forward earlier on, but the age has mellowed it very nicely. I’m glad I hung on to it.
