In fifteen years of enjoying wines from B.C. the improvement in quality and consistency has been remarkable. Quails’ Gate is a case in point. Their wines are reliable and great value for the price. If you’re looking for a white wine to keep on hand that you can sip on its own or serve with sushi, curry or spicy south Asian dishes I’d recommend Quails’ Gate Dry Riesling. Clean and crisp and loaded with flavour and aromas of apples and lime. At $17 this is a steal of a deal. Great for holiday parties too. This Riesling is widely available so grab a bottle on the way home along with takeout after a tough day at work.
Price: $17.00
