After a sold-out first edition that featured the creations of The Pear Tree’s Chef Scott Jaeger, the Greasy Spoon Diner Supper Series is pleased to announce the culinary team and date for the next event on Tuesday, April 21st at Save on Meats.

Jaeger is passing the spatula on to a group of four award-winning chefs from the Earls Chef Collective. Ryan Stone (The Pear Tree, L ‘Atelier by Joël Robuchon, Culinary Olympics, Bocuse D’or), Hamid Salimian (Diva at the Met, current Captain of Culinary Team Canada), David Wong (Oru, Culinary Team Canada, Bocuse D’or) and Brian Skinner (Acorn, Otarian, Noma, Gold Medal Plates) will bring their vast, diverse talents to Save on Meats for one night only.

Each of the four chefs will be creating one diner-inspired dish for this menu, and each course will be paired with a local craft drink chosen by them. With influences and experience spanning Persia to Scandinavia, England to Asia, Germany to the Pacific Rim; the dinner promises to be a thrilling mashup of local ingredients, international flavours and classic preparations.

“Scott Jaeger set an incredibly high bar during out first event, but we’ve got four all-stars lined up for the second Greasy Spoon Supper who are going to do something mind-blowing on the 21st”, said Mark Brand of Save on Meats and A Better Life Foundation. “We’re thrilled that they’re pitching in to help support some great DTES causes through ABLF.”

Tickets for the dinner are $95 each (including tax and gratuity) and diners can choose from two seatings at 5:30PM and 8:00PM. Every penny raised from the night’s ticket sales will be donated through A Better Life Foundation to local charities chosen by the chefs. The dinner is a remarkable value and are opportunity to enjoy food from four world-class chefs in one sitting.
