Mt. Boucherie Winery hosts culinary fundraiser to support chef Paul Moran

Mt. Boucherie Winery unites local musician, culinary chefs and hospitality members to host an evening stand-up reception fundraiser in support of local chef Paul Moran, as he prepares to compete in upcoming world-class S. Pellegrino Young Chef 2015 Competition.

Mt. Boucherie Winery holds a reputation for supporting and listening to its community in West Kelowna, British Columbia. It is no different this time as the winery hosts a local fundraiser on Saturday, May 9th to support chef Paul Moran in his upcoming culinary training for S. Pellegrino Young Chef 2015 Competition, where he will represent Team Canada in Milan, Italy.
Tickets are $59.00 per person and available for purchase online, with all proceeds benefiting Chef Moran.
What started as a friendly conversation with a wine club member in the Mt. Boucherie wine shop sparked an idea for a culinary fundraiser. Local community members including musician Becca T., Chef Stephanie Noel and Mt. Boucherie staff members are volunteering their time and resources to put together an entertaining and delicious stand-up reception under the Mt. Boucherie white-tent.
Guests will enjoy a beautiful view of Lake Okanagan while swaying to the melodic tunes of Becca T. and tasting six of chef Moran’s award-winning dishes paired to Mt. Boucherie wines. The full menu and wine pairings are listed here.

“As a member of this community, we are proud to see the enthusiasm of our neighbours, friends and staff members in coming together to support our local chef. Not only will guests have a taste of BC Wine Country at the culinary fundraiser, they will also experience the generosity, love and hospitality of our community. This is what makes our wine country special and uniquely yours,” says Pinki Gidda, owner, Mt. Boucherie
Winery.
