West Coast Christmas Show Set to Launch a Fun Filled Weekend
One of Canada’s leading holiday season shows, the 8th annual West Coast Christmas Show & Artisan Marketplace, launches this weekend, November 20, 21, and 22, 2015 at the TRADEX Trade and Exhibition Centre in Abbotsford with over 200 vendors, half of them artisans, with thousands of items for gift giving and a horde of products for your Holiday cooking and entertaining, products you are not likely to find in your neighbourhood mall.
But there’s a lot more to the show than shopping. There is fun and activities for everyone in the family:
The Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest

Christmas Cookie Decorating
Kids can decorate and take home their very own Christmas cookie baked fresh by Santa’s Workshop Chef Nicole, and with the help of one of our Cookie Elves.
Sand Art Creations
Create your very own make and take sand art in Santa’s Workshop courtesy of Sandart.ca.
Santa’s Mailbox
Write your very own letter to Santa and place it in his mailbox right here at Santa’s workshop with your friends from Lil Ol Craft Company.
Model Making demonstrations and help with your own at home projects:
Come and visit the Model Making Center where the club members will be demonstrating the art of model making. If your child has a problem with a model making project, bring it with you and let the experts show you the solution.
Trains, Trains, Trains for the young and the young at heart!
Whether you are a model train enthusiast or just like trains, you can’t afford to miss visiting the fantastic Euro Rail Hobbies model train displays, or the huge, intricate Empress Line Railroad garden scale train setup.
Be sure to check out the large model train layout that was
displayed for 2 years around Germany and Europe at many
model train shows and at the German Toy Fair.
Sounds of the Holidays Stage
Enjoy the sounds of the Christmas Holiday Season performed by over 20 community groups, choirs and bands, live on stage continuously throughout the entire weekend.
The Home For the Holidays Stage
Watch talented local chefs and cook book authors as they demonstrate Holiday cooking and entertaining ideas for you to use during your own Holiday entertaining preparations.
Festival of Decorated Christmas Trees
Be dazzled!!! Walk among these beautifully decorated trees that local charitable organizations have decorated to compete for a grand prize. Visitors may also win a prize by voting for favourite tree.
Toy Mountain
The West Coast Christmas Show is once again a drop-off centre for Toy Mountain.
Make this Christmas a happy one for children in need by dropping off a donation of an unwrapped toy. The good people at The Salvation Army will then deliver these toys to less fortunate children in our community in time for Christmas morning.
Show Information:
Tickets are $6 for adults, $5 for seniors, and a discount applies if bought online. Admission is free for children 16 and under.
