The Chef’s table Society, a Vancouver-based non profit charity supporting sustainable food programs that inspire, nurture and educate chefs, producers and the local food industry is returning to the Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts with their 3rd annual Slow Fish Dinner. The event is designed to raise awareness for Slow Fish Canada (a Slow Food initiative) that focuses on finding local solutions to support better management of Canada’s freshwater and marine resources. This year, there will be 8 chefs in 8 kitchens cooking 8 sustainable local fish and seafood and pairing it with 8 salmon-safe local wines.
