Reminder – AIDS Vancouver’s Ninth Annual Celebrity Dim Sum is September 25

It’s that time of year again! AIDS Vancouver’s signature fund-raising event, Celebrity Dim Sum, will be held at the Four Seasons Vancouver September 25 from 10 am – 1 pm. Now in its ninth year, Celebrity Dim Sum attracts high-level donors as well as a variety of international and Vancouver celebrities in support of AIDS Vancouver’s programs and services.

This year, CBC Radio’s and The Vancouver Courier’s man about town Fred Lee and Carmen Ruiz y Laza, of JoyTV and CarmenTV will co-host the event.

Celebrity Dim Sum servers will include Mayor Gregor Robertson, CTV’s Mike Killeen, Scott Roberts and Ann Luu, Roundhouse Radio’s Barb Snelgrove, TV host Fiona Forbes, Vancouver Centre MP Dr. Hedy Fry, OUTtv’s Josh Rimer and Lana Parrilla, aka the Evil Queen on ABC’s “Once Upon a Time”.

Guests will be treated to a delicious dim sum brunch, a variety of silent and live auction items, and of course, the ever-popular Chicken Feet Eating Contest. And again this year, WestJet will be giving away a trip for two anywhere the airline flies.

Celebrity Dim Sum tickets are $158 for a single guest, $228 for a VIP ticket, and $1,000 for a table of 10, and can be purchased online.
