Capture the Flavours of The Season With Unique Fall Confections

As the summer sun gives way to autumn’s glow, celebrate the turn of the season with a new assortment of handmade chocolate confections and pastry selections that celebrate Thanksgiving, Halloween and the “Movember” men’s health movement available exclusively at Thomas Haas Chocolates & Patisserie.

Thomas Haas offers a true cornucopia of Thanksgiving-themed creations this fall. The whimsical chocolate turkey, Edgar, carries mini milk chocolate pumpkins and is accented with feathers airbrushed with cocoa butter ($39); a Wicker Basket filled to the brim with pumpkin truffles ($29); a Pumpkin Crate airbrushed with cocoa butter and filled with truffles in a chocolate crate lined with white-chocolate hay ($49); a Small Pumpkin, airbrushed with cocoa butter and filled with truffles ($19); a limited-edition Thanksgiving Truffle filled with cinnamon-spiced pumpkin ($1.40); a Pumpkin Pie, topped with cinnamon Chantilly cream and nestled in a butter crust available in both Classic and with Caramelized Apple ($5.90 individual; $35 for 6-7 servings; $45 for 10-12 servings); a new savoury Turkey Sandwich complemented with stuffing, nuts and cranberry chutney ($9.50); and a Pumpkin Latte served with a pumpkin truffle on the side ($4.20).

Trick-or-treating season will soon be in full swing and Thomas Haas makes filling treat bags easy with a variety of handmade confections like a Chocolate Jack-O-Lantern, filled with a selection of 30 one-of-a-kind chocolate treats ($45) or a Small Pumpkin, airbrushed with cocoa butter and filled with an assortment of chocolate truffles ($24).

For the second year in a row, Thomas Haas will support men’s health for the Movember Foundation — a global charity committed to helping men lead happier, healthier and longer lives — by donating 10 per cent of proceeds from his exclusive moustache-themed creations, including: Chocolate Movember Lollipops (2.90); a Movember Moustache Bar featuring Guinness ganache and a stout-malt wafer ($12.50); and a Movember Dark Chocolate Cake available in three sizes and featuring delectable dark whisky ganache, malt wafer and moustache accents ($5.90; $35 for 6-7 servings; $45 for 10-12 servings).

Thomas Haas’ fall offerings will be available exclusively at his two patisseries in North Vancouver and Kitsilano, starting this weekend.
