The Concierge of Vancouver – October 7 – 16

The Concierge of Vancouver is the world premiere of a play satirizing the Vancouver housing crisis and looks at the consequences of skyrocketing real estate prices and living costs.

An expensive condo building in Coal Harbour, barely occupied… a reclusive donor, giving away millions of dollars each year to fund worthy causes… and, an international bank under scrutiny by a tenacious reporter… What is the connection?

This brand new comedy features Art Kitching (“Al”, a concierge), Elizabeth Kirkland (“Agnes”, adetermined reporter), Sharon Crandall (“Samantha”, a banking executive) and Betty Mitchell. Award winner Frank Zotter (“Fred”, a smooth talking PR specialist).

The Concierge of Vancouver is a larger than life comedy directed by Ian Farthing, a Prix Rideau Award winner. It is the second in a trilogy of plays by local writer Shaul Ezer.
