Vancouver’s premier Northern European harvest festival celebrates the fourth year
Wet Ape Productions and The Social Concierge proudly announce the fourth annual Harvest Haus, running October 5 – 7 and October 13 – 14, 2017.
Over the course of two weekends, Sole Food Street Farms (88 Pacific Blvd) will be transformed into the West Coast’s largest Germanic-inspired cultural harvest festival, welcoming 1,500 revellers to seven seatings under the great Harvest Haus Halle tent.
Beginning with a theatrical keg tapping by the Harvest Haus Bürgermeister, each four-and-a-half-hour event boasts a fully immersive atmosphere complete with medieval tomfoolery, swashbuckling, axe throwing, swordplay by Academie Duello, live Bavarian brass oompah and favourite party hits by Vancouver’s “Oktoberators” on the central stage and the return of internationally renowned DJ Erick Decks from Frankfurt, Germany.
Guests will also enjoy European beers in authentic ceramic Bierkrug (steins), speciality German wines at communal long tables, giant Jenga and darts, and traditional Oktoberfest delicacies such as pretzels, Brezen, Bratwürst and Sauerkraut available in the open-air Marktplatz (marketplace).
Each seating will feature a special theme with tickets ranging from $25 for General Admission to $50 for VIP, available now at www.harvesthaus.com. Partial proceeds benefit the Music Heals Charitable Foundation that supports a wide range of music therapy services to communities in BC and across Canada.

THURSDAY EVENING, 5 OKTOBER

Celebrate the reopening of the Harvest Haus doors. PROST! Revellers will kick off the party, Bavarian style. This night is all about honouring the true traditions of the Harvest – with one exciting new addition: axe-throwing (complimentary for this night only)!
FRIDAY EVENING, 6 OKTOBER
6:00PM – 10:30PM
The Duelling Arts graces the Harvest Halle once again! Guests will embrace the thrills of swordplay, bier, and take part in some competitive axe-throwing (all in a safe environment, mind you)!
SATURDAY AFTERNOON, 7 OKTOBER
12:00PM – 4:30PM
The Stein Games return! Saturday afternoon once again hosts this exciting beer sports competition. The Harvest Halle will swell with festive rivalry, amping the usual festive revelry! Multiple games, including Stein Pong, will be contested so guests can watch or take part with a team!
SATURDAY EVENING, 7 OKTOBER
6:00PM – 10:30PM
The ultimate in Harvest Haus evenings, and the most vibrant night of the week. Attendees will round their kamerades and put on their most comfortable dancing boots, this evening is the Halle’s preeminent evening of celebration. Prepare to drink, jig, and have a roaring time!
FRIDAY EVENING, 13 OKTOBER
6:00PM – 10:30PM
New this year, guests will arrive in their most stylish Burgers and Matrones and make their case for being the best dressed – bonus points for those arriving in bands of merry-meisters dressed in group costumes!
SATURDAY AFTERNOON, 14 OKTOBER
12:00PM – 4:30PM
An afternoon of singing and dance the Harvest Halle will celebrate the return of the über popular Lippensynchron Battle! Guests will be entertained as teams compete to Synch the best with fun, funky, and frivolous routines.
