Silk Road Tea’s wellness workshops and tea blends offer a natural solution
Make January the month to turn over a new leaf and give wellness resolutions a boost with natural tea remedies and hands on workshops held at the Silk Road Tea Vancouver store.
“Our blends can help with everything from weight management and stress reduction to boosting complexions and soothing stomach issues, using all-natural, additive free organic ingredients,” says Daniela Cubelic, celebrated Tea Master and owner of Silk Road Tea. “Manage blood sugar levels and reduce carbohydrate absorption by sipping Mulberry Tea after a heavy meal, or choose Silk Road’s Nourishing Dew from our Skincare line to brighten dull skin; pair it with 3-4 cups of BeauTEAful Tea – you will see a difference in no time!”
Silk Road optimizes the nutritional value of teas through masterful blending using ancient techniques and the latest research to maximize tea’s healthful properties.
For a hands-on way to kick-start the New Year, join a mini Turn Over A New Leaf workshop, offered complimentary during store hours from Tuesday, January 2nd to Sunday, January 8th. Enjoy wellness tea flights, purifying skin and body care pampering demos, and scientifically based tips that improve your well-being.
On Saturday, January 13th, join a Renew, Reset Re-Charge workshop (2.00-3.30pm, $25) and discover simple but powerfully effective wellness tips, secrets and rituals for body and mind. Learn recipes that incorporate the beneficial properties of tea into smoothies, salad dressings and soups, as well as easy home spa rituals that purify and renew, leaving skin silky soft, using all-natural, non-toxic, chemical-free green beauty products. On Wednesday, January 17th registered holistic nutritionists Andrea McDonald and Janice Mah will offer a Kombucha 101 workshop (6.00-7.30pm, $25 or $50 with the starter kit), offering tips and recipes to brew this energizing tea-based tonic, famed for its anti-ageing properties, at home.
