MEAT, BREW, AND MUSIC Tickets to the sixth annual Brewery & The Beast go on sale Tuesday, May 1st at 10 a.m.

Restaurants from Vancouver and Whistler are gearing up for Canada’s favourite annual meat festival Brewery & The Beast on Sunday, July 29, 2018. Located at Concord Pacific Lot (180 Pacific Boulevard), from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., ticket-goers can expect a protein-forward culinary adventure with a variety of dishes and preparations, from barbecue, sous-vide, to smoked, grilled, and slow-cooked. Partial proceeds benefit the BC Hospitality Foundation and The Hawksworth Young Chef Scholarship Foundation.

“We are definitely looking forward to the six annual Brewery & The Beast in Vancouver,” says Scott Gurney, Brewery & The Beast event organizer. “We are so proud of how the hospitality industry comes together for this event and especially the chefs who work tirelessly to make their creations a reality. At the end of the day, Brewery & The Beast is about celebrating carefully sourced and responsibly farmed meats that are raised with genuine passion and care. That hasn’t changed but the passion continues to grow.”

Returning restaurants include Araxi, Boulevard Kitchen & Oyster Bar, Campagnolo, Giovane Cafe at Fairmont Pacific Rim, Hawksworth Restaurant, Homer St. Cafe and Bar, Juke Fried Chicken, Maenam, Mamie Taylor’s, Nightingale, Royal Dinette, Shangri-La Hotel Vancouver, Tableau Bar Bistro, Torafuku, and Wildebeest. Some of the new restaurants this year include Alta Bistro, Bufala, Corduroy Pie Co, Fable Diner, Fanny Bay Oysters, and JW Marriott Parq Vancouver.

Festival-goers can quench their thirst with a selection of beverages including: Phillips Brewing Company’s legendary 35-tap “Gypsy” wagon offering high-quality craft brews; cider from award-winning Left Field Cider Co; premium BC wines; Phillips homemade sodas; specialty coffees; and refreshing selections of Kombucha tea.

Live music is provided by the Electric Timber Co. with special guests.

Brewery & The Beast proudly continues to focus on food education and strives to strengthen the connection between the consumer and provider. Founding sponsor, Two Rivers Specialty Meats, supplies chefs with the majority of proteins for the event. They work diligently to source the highest quality product from farmers and producers in B.C. and Alberta.
