BELLTOWN PUB’S “BELLZ OF THE BALL” BI-MONTHLY, MID-WEEK (AKA HUMP DAY) GAY BINGO NIGHT RETURNS

The Belltown Pub will turn into a Bingo parlor again from 7:30 to 9:30pm on May 16^th, after a successful launch two weeks ago of the neighborhood hangout’s bi-monthly Wednesday game night.  Benefitting rotating charities from the LGBTQ+ community, “Bellz of the Ball Bingo” features celebrity callers, red-hot rules, passionate penalties, salacious antics and bawdy bingo calls.  The event will be emceed by multi-award-winning Drag Queen Aleksa Manila, who will keep those balls spinning, as she encourages everyone to let go of their inhibitions and have fun.

Pride Asia will be the evening’s charitable beneficiary. Founded in 2012, Pride ASIA’s mission is to celebrate, empower and nurture the multi-cultural diversity of the LGBTQ+ communities through the Asian Pacific Islander lens. The organization is a proud member of the National Queer Asian Pacific Islander Alliance (NQAPIA) and Social Outreach Seattle (SOSea).

Drug counselor by day, drag diva by night, Aleksa Manila is originally from Manila, Philippines and now calls Seattle home.  A celebrated and respected drag personality, she has a smart and sassy presence onstage, engaging her audience with ease. Aleksa is this year’s GSBA Humanitarian Honoree for Community Leadership as well as Seattle Women’s Pride 2018 Community Champion.  In her professional career, Aleksa when “not-in-face”, is the Program Coordinator of Project NEON and Program Supervisor of Addiction Services at Seattle Counseling.

Each player will receive ten Bingo cards and an ink dabber for every $10 donation they make. 100% of that money and a percentage of drink sales will go towards supporting the evening’s charitable cause.  The Belltown Pub is supplying an assortment of kitschy   boundary blowing booty for the winners.  Bingo participants can also look forward to an array of themed specialty cocktails.
