Holiday cheers for 10 years of beer with Vancouver Craft Beer Week

Vancouver Craft Beer Week celebrates 10 years with $10 tickets 
for the 2019 VCBW Festival, just in time for holiday gift giving
 

Vancouver Craft Beer Week (VCBW) is gearing up for its 10th annual celebration of craft beer and craft culture, and to honour this milestone, it’s releasing a limited number of specially priced tickets for the highly anticipated VCBW Festival, taking place June 8 and 9, 2019, at the PNE Fairgrounds.To celebrate 10 years of beer, VCBW is offering admission for only $10 for the first 100 beer-lovers to purchase tickets for each day of the festival. Once they’re gone, holiday pricing will kick in at $29 for single day tickets, and $45 for a weekend pass (regularly priced at $39 and $65, respectfully). Discounted tickets can be purchased at VancouverCraftBeerWeek.com, while supplies last, from Nov. 22, 2018, through to Dec. 31, 2018.

Named Social Event of the Year at the 2018 Golden Owl Awards, the VCBW Festival offers two days of outdoor entertainment including live music, games, food trucks and access to more than 100 craft breweries and cideries, pouring 300+ beers and ciders. Holiday priced tickets and weekend passes, plus VIP packages for the 10th annual VCBW Festival go on sale Thursday, Nov. 22, at noon.

 

Back for the second year in a row, VIP packages for single-day or weekend enjoyment include early entry to the VIP area, expedited entry to the festival, 10 drink tokens and one food voucher. The VIP area offers access to exclusive beers and casks, food, music and private washrooms. VIP packages are priced at $85 for a single day and $140 for a weekend pass and are available for purchase starting Nov. 22, 2018. 

 

Attendees can beat the lineups at the festival by pre-purchasing tokens, priced at $20 for 10 tokens, when they buy their tickets online.

 

VCBW is committed to providing a safe space for all to enjoy and ensuring that craft beer is promoted and appreciated responsibly by adults. All volunteers, staff, and attendees should experience VCBW free from harassment, assault or intimidation—any such behaviour will not be tolerated. As with all VCBW events, Serving It Right rules apply—attendees must be 19+ years of age and provide two pieces of ID. VCBW guests are reminded to drink responsibly and plan a safe ride home.
