Vancouver TheatreSports™ Invites You to Share Some Laughs with Your Mom at the ‘Mother of All Mother’s Day Shows’

You’ve probably given your Mother more than a few grey hairs over the years. Isn’t it about time you gave her some laughs instead?
Vancouver TheatreSports™ (VTS) is pleased to celebrate Moms everywhere with its ‘mother of all Mother’s Day shows’ – MOM=WOW – a special, one-performance-only, Mom-themed show just for her on Sunday, May 12 at 4:00pm.
MOM=WOW explores the many facets of motherhood through different short scenes. Mom will laugh until her sides hurt with vignettes such as ‘Movie Moms,’ ‘Momvolution – from new Mom to Grand-mom’, ‘Mom Myths’ or ‘Tiger Mommy’, to name a few of the endless possibilities that could arise. As in all VTS shows, the characters and scenes are co-developed with the audience, utilizing their suggestions to create on-the-spot, unscripted comedy.
MOM=WOW begins at 4:00pm, giving you plenty of time for a leisurely brunch before the show or allowing you to book a dinner after the performance (which concludes at 5:20pm).

The Neil Macrae Bar & Lounge at VTS’ Improv Centre will open on Mother’s Day at 3:30pm for pre-show beverages and, weather permitting, the patio deck overlooking the picturesque marina will also be open to patrons. Bar Manager Paul has a special on piccolo bottles of sparkling Henkell Trocken Rosé and Mission Hill Five Vineyards Rosé by the glass or the bottle. Patrons have the option of taking their beverages into the theatre to enjoy during the show.
Tickets for MOM=WOW are value-priced at only $25 and include the performance plus either a Henkell piccolo, or a glass of Mission Hill Five Vineyards Rosé, or a glass of House Wine (red or white), or a non-alcoholic beverage.
