Located in the heart of the Downtown Eastside, The Mackenzie Room is a contemporary farm to table restaurant offering a chalk board menu, served family-style, that changes through the seasons. Each seasonal menu offers 12 dishes that feature an abundance of local ingredients and cultural influences that excites carnivores and vegetarians alike.

Vancouver Craft Beer Week will be running from May 31-June 9 across the city. As temperatures heat up, there’s nothing better to beat the heat than a cool brew, and The Mackenzie Room is getting in on the action with a 6 tap tasting to go along with their Just the Two of Us menu for the week of Vancouver Craft Beer Week. For just $25 extra per person, visitors can enjoy 5 half-pints from some of the best breweries in the Lower Mainland, paired specifically with the dishes brought to the table.

Having built strong relationships with the breweries in the Lower Mainland, The Mackenzie Room has their finger on the pulse when it comes to bringing in what’s fresh, new and delicious, while balancing this with appearances from Vancouver staples. The taps are constantly changing based on small batch brews and seasonal availability, meaning that guests may never be sure of what they’re going to find on tap when walking in the door, but they can always count on beers that both excite and pair perfectly with the dishes on their rotating chalkboard menu.
