The group behind Railtown’s The Mackenzie Room,Collective Hospitality (comprised of Andrew Jameson, Chef Sean Reeve, and Antonio Cayonne), is set to open a new concept in January of 2020. Located in the Fraserhood, ‘Say Mercy!’ is an unexpected love story between Italian and American Barbeque, bringing together two of Executive Chef Sean Reeve’s biggest passions.
Each restaurant has a featured dish and the proceeds of that dish go to the Powell Street Getaway at 528 Powell Street, a peer-led resource centre that supports people living with chronic illnesses, addictions and/or mental health challenges. Funds raised from Dine Railtown will be put directly towards Powell Street Getaway programming and initiatives.
The Mackenzie Room announces today their new 4-course large format dinner series, [email protected] With a new food focus and beverage pairing every week, the series aims to celebrate The Mackenzie Room’s commitment to sustainability and local ingredients.
