This was the opportunity for the Qualicum Beach Cafe to shine, and shine they did. The dishes were nothing short of spectacular and the guests were thrilled to experience the inaugural Wine Dinner featuring the wines of Noble Ridge.
The evening started pleasantly with an atmosphere enhanced by sparkling lights and mellow instrumental sounds of a sitar. There was no doubt that Chef Alan really pulled out all the stops when it came to the dishes that were paired with the Nobel Ridge wines.
“A bountiful nose of bramble fruit with licorice and a touch of eucalyptus leads into a silky palate of cherry, sassafras and basil leaf. The pleasing structure of this wine leaves you with a refreshing and clean finish.” winery notes
Plenty Hard Kombucha is stacked full of better-for-you organic ingredients – your body will thank you. Our effervescent bevy is not only refreshing, but guilt-free. Cheers to high quality ingredients you can enjoy all year long!
The dish was done on the bbq along with other root vegetables and served to lovers of rich, red wines. Hence, the choice of he Syrah. Sometimes you just have to move out of your comfort zone to find something special.
Definitely the star of this dinner was the Maverick Sauvignon Blanc that was the perfect match for the Roasted Zucchini with Garlicky Bread Crumbs and Mozzarella. Plus a repeat dish (a definite favourite) Italian Sausage Meatballs, this time with Marinara Sauce.
