Granville Island Brewing Launches Heroes Sip Easy Contest
Our essential workers on the frontlines deserve a break…let’s help them sit back and sip easy!
Granville Island Brewing (GIB) has launched a new initiative for March in recognition of essential workers across the Lower Mainland. I thought it might be of interest to you given the local angle.
It’s been a long year for all of us as a result of the pandemic but some of the hardest hit in our community are no doubt the essential workers. We often forget that they aren’t just the healthcare heroes; they’re also the bus drivers, retail and service industry workers, delivery people, and many more unsung heroes putting their lives and mental health on the line for us.
Keeping with the “take it easy” mindset of its latest brew, Sip Easy, GIB wants to help recognize and honour essential workers across the Lower Mainland through its Heroes Sip Easy contest that will reward them with a well-deserved break to sit back, relax and sip easy.
GIB is asking for people across the Lower Mainland to nominate that special essential worker in their lives who is in need of a well-deserved break so that it can treat the hardworking Vancouver to the sip easy experience they deserve.
Keeping with the “take it easy” mindset of its latest brew, Sip Easy, Granville Island Brewing (GIB) wants to help recognize and honour five essential workers across the Lower Mainland by rewarding them a well-deserved break to sit back, relax and sip easy. Whether you are a grocery store employee, transit driver, construction worker, teacher, healthcare worker, retail or service industry employee or a delivery person, you deserve a break and Granville Island Brewing wants to help.
Granville Island Brewing presents the Heroes Sip Easy contest because taking it easy is essential. Nominate an essential worker in your life who is in need of a well-deserved break so we can treat them to the sip easy experience they deserve.
Two Grand Prize Winners will win a taproom experience at Granville Island Brewing for them and their household/bubble valued at $1000. Three Runner-Ups will win an exclusive sip easy take home experience pack to relax at home with your household valued at $350.
