In celebration of World Cocktail Day, Monkey Shoulder Whisky is kicking off an epic Summer Made for Mixing, inviting consumers at home to mix it up with a Brass Monkey whisky cocktail.

World Cocktail Day is a globally recognized celebration of cocktails, and May 13th marks the first-known published definition of the word “cocktail,” dating back to 1806.

The Brass Monkey whisky cocktail can be made using a custom, pre-batched cocktail mix, created exclusively for Monkey Shoulder by Cocktail Emporium, or made at home, from scratch, using Monkey Shoulder Whisky.

How to get mixing at home with the Brass Monkey Cocktail Mix:

You’ll Need:

1 ½ ounces of Monkey Shoulder Whisky
½ ounces Brass Monkey Cocktail Mix
Bottle of Soda Water
Fresh Orange Slice

Mix Master:

Add Monkey Shoulder Whisky and Brass Monkey Mix in a Tom Collins glass over ice.
Top with soda water.
Garnish with a fresh orange slice.
Crank up your fave funky music mix and serve it up.

How to get mixing at home with Brass Monkey made from Scratch:

You’ll Need:

1 ½ ounces of Monkey Shoulder Whisky
2 dashes of Bitters
Bottle of Ginger Beer
Fresh Orange Slice

Mix Master:

Add Monkey Shoulder Whisky to a Tom Collins glass over ice.
Add 2 dashes of bitters.
Top with Ginger Beer.
Garnish with a fresh orange slice.
Crank up your fave funky music mix and serve it up.
