Torafuku Celebrates Seventh Anniversary

Torafuku Turns 7, Unveils Celebratory Menu and Special Offers

This month, a toast to Chinatown, a new omakase menu, and special offers are all on the table at Torafuku.

Torafuku, which translates to “lucky tiger” in Japanese, is feeling extra lucky on its seventh anniversary and will be celebrating all of its stripes. Customers will have the opportunity to indulge in a celebratory anniversary omakase menu and lineup of limited-time offers. The restaurant’s anniversary menus have become a must-try for in-the-know patrons as they provide exceptional value.

“After the last couple of years, we have never felt closer to our customers. So this anniversary feels very special; we are just happy to be here doing what we love,” shares owner and chef Steve Kuan.

The Anniversary Omakase
The celebratory seven-course menu will feature long-loved favourites along with all-new seasonal creations. In traditional Torafuku fashion, the menu is designed to share and offers diners various options of appetizers, mains, and dessert. Patrons can expect an electric mashup of international flavours presented harmoniously.

Menu highlights include picturesque Zucchini Flowers served tempura style and stuffed with sweet shrimp mousse and truffle tapenade. For mains, a sweet and savoury Three Cup Chicken with Half Long Kang specialty free-range chicken accompanied with refreshing cucumber salad and Thai basil makes for a perfect late summer option. For dessert, the choice of a Basque Cheesecake or the all-new S’more Tart will tempt sweet-toothed guests.

The menu is available August 12-28 for $65.00 per person with a minimum of two orders per table and served to share.

The full menu can be viewed online here.
Reservations can be made online via OpenTable or by calling the restaurant at (778) 903-2006.
