Kick-Off Oliver Fall Festival September 30th

With the Oliver Fall Festival just over a week away, the event committee is excited to launch the 3-day weekend festivities with the new Kick-Off Party at District Wine Village with headliners The Trews.

“To have such an iconic Canadian band kick off the Oliver Fall Festival this year is a dream come true,” remarks Ian Lobb, Executive Director of the Oliver Tourism Association. “If you have not yet been to a concert at District Wine Village, this is an amazing chance to celebrate the harvest season in style while enjoying an array of artisan beverages, delicious food truck favourites and dancing to the iconic music of The Trews.”

To complement your Oliver Fall Festival experience, Oliver Tourism has partnered with Grape Savvy Wine Tours to provide safe, reliable transportation to and from all signature events in their beautifully restored Trolleys. With shuttles running from Penticton and Osoyoos Friday through Sunday, guests can book tickets for their preferred departure times for desired events online at trolleyco.ca.

“We are thrilled to be working with Savannah and the team at Grape Savvy Wine Tours to provide guests with a fun and unique transportation option to get to and from the festival this year,” says Danielle Hutton, Chairman of the Fall Festival Committee and Vice Chair of the Oliver Tourism Association. “With more than 45 wine, beer and spirit producers and 38 merchants participating in the Festival this year, we definitely want to ensure all guests have the chance to sip and savour their favourites safely.”

A family-friendly event, the Oliver Fall Festival brings breweries, wineries, distilleries, artisans, musicians and eateries together for 3-days of harvest celebrations. This year’s lineup includes signature festival events Cask & Keg (including the newly added Beer Olympics), the 25th annual Festival of the Grape event (and the world-renowned Grape Stomp Competition), as well as the highly anticipated Kick-Off Party at District Wine Village.

VIP Tickets are available for The Trews at The Village and Festival of the Grape on Sunday.
