South Kelowna Slopes Pinot Noir Organic

VINEYARD
Our Home Block vineyard, planted on the eastern shores of Okanagan Lake in 1991, has shown us time and time again that it produces truly exceptional Pinot Noir. This wine is a tribute to the unique blend of clones planted on clay, silt, and stone. The different expressions of Pinot Noir marry into a wine that perfectly captures the character of our founding vineyard.
TASTING NOTES
Good dark fruit concentration combined with some dried leaf and forest floor character. Tannins are nice and balanced.
Naramata Ranch Sauvignon Blanc
THE WINE
Sauvignon Blanc has immense untapped potential in North Okanagan because of our climate and soils. This single vineyard wine shows some grass, lemongrass and flint characters from the cooler slopes, and passionfruit and guava from the warmer slopes. Fermented in concrete and French oak barrels, this wine is a fresh, lively, and bright expression of the North Okanagan through the Sauvignon Blanc.
TASTING NOTES
The wine is flinty and mineral-driven with some lemongrass and a little citrus. On the palate, there is fresh acidity, very nice textures, and a hint of tropical or passion fruit to compliment the character on the nose.
Pinot Noir Organic
VINEYARD
In 1989, we selected a site – today known as Home Block Vineyard – that set the stage for the Pinot Noir grape to truly shine. We had a hunch that the vineyard was special and with each passing vintage we’ve been delighted to confirm our theory. The combination of soils, varied elevation and the moderating effect of the lake produces deeply complex wines with fruit-forward character.

Dried, fresh cherries, citrus, cedar, earth and leaf.
Valentine’s Tasting for Two: Imagine the glow of a candlelit room, adorned with fragrant flowers, with the sounds of a romantic playlist softly in the background. Couples can savour the richness of five Platinum wines over the course of this 45-minute experience, served with chef-created bites from the winery’s renowned Home Block restaurant.
