Artist in Residence: A Canadian First

A multifaceted artist celebrated for her expertise in fashion, floral, and food artistry, Meredith will grace the hotel with her presence, crafting original artwork inspired by Cherry Blossom season.

In 2015, Meredith launched “Moomooi,” a platform where her artistry flourished. What sets Meredith’s work apart is her ability to transform the ordinary into the extraordinary, turning flowers into ball gowns, leaves into intricate patterns, and fruits into accessories fit for a royal affair. From fashion enthusiasts to nature lovers, Meredith’s art resonates with a diverse audience, each finding something unique to cherish in her illustrations.

Guests will have the exclusive opportunity to participate in a series of in-hotel events and activations curated by Meredith, including a hands-on mixed media fashion illustration workshop, live portrait session in the Georgia Street Window display, and a captivating live session series in the lobby. Cherry Blossom Afternoon Tea

Notch8 at Fairmont Hotel Vancouver invites guests to indulge in a new themed Afternoon Tea experience, to commemorate the return of spring and the enchanting Cherry Blossoms that canopy over the city. Collaborating with Koncept Designs, the tea room will undergo a breathtaking transformation, immersing patrons in a sensory journey amidst blossoms and blooms. The Cherry Blossom Afternoon Tea will be available Wednesday through Friday, March 1 to May 31 with seatings at 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. The Cherry Blossom Afternoon Tea is $72 per person ($40 for children 12 and under), offering guests an exquisite culinary experience paired with the delicate beauty of cherry blossoms. Tea in the Window Returns

Fairmont Hotel Vancouver reimagines the beloved Tea in the Window experience, offering an exclusive dining affair within the hotel’s street-level window display on West Georgia Street.
