Blasted Church Vineyards Elevates Industry Veteran
Tanya Martin to Director of Operations
The team at Blasted Church Vineyards, an independent winery in the heart of the Okanagan Valley, announces the promotion of Tanya Martin to director of operations.
Martin, who has been with the winery since 2007 and served as general manager since 2008, brings a wealth of experience, dedication, and leadership to her expanded role.
“Tanya has been an integral member of the Blasted Church management team, having been the general manager for the past 15+ years,” notes Blasted Church Vineyards majority owner Sean Morrison. “As director of operations, Tanya’s role expands to leverage her extensive experience to help manage Blasted Church through these challenging times and build for future success.”
With a distinguished career spanning more than 28 years in the BC wine industry, Martin has played key roles at other notable BC wineries, including Hillside Estate Winery, See Ya Later Ranch, and Hester Creek Estate Winery, before joining Blasted Church. Her experience and deep understanding of the industry have been pivotal in guiding Blasted Church’s growth and success.
In her expanded role as director of operations, Martin will now focus on strategic planning, long-term growth initiatives, and overseeing larger projects that drive the winery forward. Her responsibilities shift from managing day-to-day operations to include broader oversight, ensuring Blasted Church’s continued success in an evolving industry.
