KINTON RAMEN TO OPEN FIVE NEW RESTAURANTS
IN GREATER VANCOUVER, VICTORIA THIS WINTER

Growing Family of Restaurants to Open Spots in Vancouver and Burnaby
this December with New Outposts in Victoria, Richmond & Coquitlam
Set for 2026

Kinton Ramen is giving Ramen lovers an early Christmas gift by announcing that two of new locations opened their doors in December starting with a new restaurant that soft opens in Vancouver’s Commercial Drive-Broadway neighbourhood, Wednesday, Dec. 18th at 1661 East Broadway.

Located in the former Hon’s Wonton House, the 1,200-sq.-ft. Commercial-Broadway outpost will be open 11 a.m. to midnight daily for dine-in, take-out and delivery during its soft open phase and seats 26 guests with a patio offering an additional 14 seats expected to open in the spring of 2026.

The popular chain will continue adding to its family of restaurants with four new openings that include its first Burnaby location — a 1,080-sq-ft. restaurant in the Gilmore district at 140-4112 Lougheed Hwy. with seating for 33 opening in late December — and three more in late January and early February of 2026.

The New Year will see Kinton Ramen open a 1,300-sq.-ft. spot in Richmond at 7899 Templeton Road that will seat up to 46; a 1,652-sq.-ft. location on Vancouver Island in Victoria University Heights at 104-1520 McKenzie Ave. that seats 46; and a 1,300-sq.-ft. spot with seating for 38 in Sunwood Square that will mark its first Coquitlam location and the 12th location for the popular brand across BC.

Kinton Ramen has grown to include more than 30 locations across Canada in major hubs like Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver, with other restaurants in BC at Marine Gateway (434 SW Marine Dr.), Point Grey at UBC (6111 University Blvd.), North Vancouver (#105 – 1325 Lonsdale Avenue), Surrey (#103 – 13639 George Junction), Robson Street (420 Robson St.), Kelowna (570 Bernard Ave.) and Victoria (813 Wharf St.).

The menu at all locations — developed by Kinton Ramen Executive Chef Aki Urata — showcases a range of hearty ramen bowls prepared with slow-cooked pork or chicken broth in five distinct stylesOriginal, Shoyu, Miso, Spicy Garlic and Spicy Jalapeño — as well as a selection of four vegetarian bowls featuring a 100-percent plant-based broth in Original, Veg Shoyu, Veg Miso and Veg Spicy varieties. Ramen bowls will be served with a choice of thick, thin or shirataki noodles and finished with traditional and modern toppings like bamboo shoots, wood ear mushrooms, scallion, nori, and sweet corn.
