Marking 10 years, Fanny Bay invites Vancouverites on a citywide
scavenger hunt celebrating West Coast seafood and community
Fanny Bay Oyster Bar & Shellfish Market is celebrating its 10-year anniversary with a week-long citywide scavenger hunt running June 22 to June 28, giving guests the chance to win its signature Salish Sea Platter.
The $120 platter showcases the best of the Pacific Northwest with a dozen oysters, cold cracked crab, geoduck sashimi, kelp noodle salad, and smoked mussels.
To mark the milestone, Fanny Bay Oyster Bar & Shellfish Market will release a daily clue on its Instagram account (@fannybayoysters) at approximately 3pm, guiding participants to a hidden “Fanny Pack” somewhere in Vancouver. Each pack will include a golden oyster shell and a custom letter of instructions to claim the prize, along with the bonus that participants get to keep the Fanny Pack itself. One Fanny Pack will be hidden each day for seven consecutive days, giving participants seven chances to win the restaurant’s signature seafood platter.
In addition to the anniversary activation, guests can expect extended hours on game days along with FIFA™ drink and food specials running throughout the celebration period.
