As National Forest Week approaches, Rewild Wines is connecting with Canad
On September 23, 2026, Canada will celebrate National Tree Day, a part of National Forest Week, representing a day to honour the beauty, strength, and vital role of trees in the lives of Canadians and their communities. More than a celebration, it is a call to action to plant, learn, and make a lasting impact on the environment. This year, Rewild Wines is proud to support Tree Canada and their vision to improve the lives of Canadians by planting and nurturing trees across the country.
Rewild Wines is supporting National Tree Day alongside Tree Canada with a seeding campaign design to inspire Canadians to enjoy Rewild Wines while embracing the philosophy of rewilding. As part of the Tree Day initiative, Rewild will send its Pinot Grigio and Cabernet Sauvignon to influencers with a donation to Tree Canada made in their name. Donations will support reforestation in areas of need across Canada and contribute to a healthier, greener tomorrow.
Since 1992, Tree Canada has worked relentlessly to grow Canada’s tree canopy through greening programs, research, and engagement efforts. As Canada’s only national non-profit organization dedicated to planting and nurturing trees in rural and urban environments, Tree Canada plants millions of trees across the country annually, contributing to ecosystems and increasing biodiversity across Canada.
For Rewild, supporting National Tree Day is a natural extension of its broader commitment to sustainability across every part of its production. Sourced from the sustainably farmed vineyards, Rewild Wines focuses on soil regeneration, water conservation, and biodiversity protection, helping to foster more balanced and resilient ecosystems. Through this initiative, Rewild is extending their regeneration philosophy beyond the vineyard, supporting reforestation here in Canada.
Born in Australia’s Sothern Murray Darling region, Rewild’s story begins with the land itself. At Duxton Vineyards, sustainable and regenerative farming practices guide every winemaking decision. Minimal intervention allows ecosystems to thrive naturally, while practices like composting, soil restoration, and biodiversity support actively strengthen the land, ensuring it can sustain future generations.
Rewild’s commitment to the environment extends far beyond the vineyard. Renewable energy powers the estate, including solar panels that have prevented hundreds of tons of CO2 emissions. Water conservation is central, with careful recycling and management to reduce waste. Winemaking by-products, including grape seeds, skins, and stalks, are composted back into the earth to promote regeneration and nourished soil future harvests.
The packaging is also designed to minimize impact: lightweight glass bottles, Stelvin caps made with recycled content, 100% post-consumer wastepaper labels, and responsibly sourced cartons. In Canada, Rewild Wines continue this commitment to conservation with best practices that allow for a reduced environmental degradation. Through a partnership with Andrew Peller Limited, Rewild wines are bottled locally, reducing transportation emissions, offering Canadian consumers eco-conscious bottles at an economical price point.
Rewild Wines tell a story of regeneration, from soil to glass, while delivering an easy-going, delicious taste profile. Rewild Cabernet Sauvignon offers ripe, concentrated fruits and fine tannins, while Rewild Pinot Grigio boasts attractive pear, citrus and granny apple aromatics with good varietal definition. Both wines are vegan friendly.
Rewild represents the philosophy of giving back more to the Earth than we take, embracing regeneration, respect for nature and the belief that exceptional taste should never come at the planet’s expense. Great wine does not have to cost the Earth.
Rewild Wine is currently available in select provinces across Canada, including British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and select Atlantic provinces. For specific availability, please contact your local retailer.
