2022 Chardonnay
Fort Berens
Lillooet, BC
$24.99
Pale straw with medium-light intensity.  The nose shows aromas of melon, citrus, tropical fruit, banana, almond, and vanilla.  Good balance.  The flavours echo the nose followed by a medium-plus finish.  An enjoyable glass of wine when making dinner.

2022 Sauvignon Blanc (Anarchy)
Mayhem
Okanagan Falls, BC
$25.32
Lemon yellow with medium-minus intensity.  A well-integrated nose with aromas of fresh fruit salad, grapefruit juice, lemon, lime, melon, and hints of fresh peas, honey and cut grass.  Well balanced.  The flavours mirror the nose along with peach and grapefruit followed by a medium-long finish.  Well crafted, one of BC’s best.  Sancerre meets New Zealand.  A versatile food wine.  Serve with goat cheese and crackers, scampi, cioppino, Thai dishes, chicken, pork, fish, shellfish, and roasted vegetables.

2022 Rosé
Meyer Family Vineyards
Okanagan Falls, BC
$20.96
A blend of Pinot Noir grapes from three vineyards went into this wine which was half fermented in barrels and half in stainless steel.  Cherry red with medium intensity.  Fruit forward with ripe strawberry cranberry, cherry, spice, vanilla, orange zest, and lip-smacking bright red fruit on the nose.  Very good balance.  Dry on the palate with flavours reflecting the nose. Followed by a medium-plus finish.

2018 Cabernet Sauvignon
MERF
Paterson, Washington
$22.99
Garnet/black with deep intensity.  The nose is relatively simple with aromas of bramble, boysenberry, and plum. Good balance with full body and integrated tannins.  Slightly sweet on the palate with red and black fruit flavours.  A medium-short finish.  Serve with lasagna. Nothing special here, but good value for Cabernet lovers.  Drinkable.

2020 Urban Legend (Bordeaux-styled blend)
Pacific Breeze
New Westminster, BC
$39.99
First of all, yes, the 2020 vintage is currently the one sitting on the shelf.  This blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc is garnet red with medium-deep intensity. The delicate nose shows aromas of bramble, raspberry, cherry, and earth.  Good balance.  Pleasing on the palate followed by a medium finish.  If drinking soon, be sure to aerate it and give it lots of time to breathe.
