DOC DELLE VENEZIE: 2025 INTERNATIONAL PROMOTION UNDERWAY
From Europe to North America: the Consortium inaugurates the 2025 calendar at Wine Paris&Vinexpo, to continue with a program full of events dedicated to Pinot Grigio DOC Delle Venezie
The Delle Venezie DOC Consortium inaugurates the 2025 international promotional activities’ calendar with Wine Paris&Vinexpo, scheduled from February 10 to 12 at the Paris Expo. This wine fair, now in its sixth edition, marks a strategic moment for the Consortium to meet with industry professionals, buyers, wine enthusiasts, media and opinion leaders from all over the world. At Hall 6-stand B063, the Consortium will once again be the point of reference for getting to know Pinot Grigio DOC Delle Venezie up close, with the possibility of receiving information on the denomination and the location of the associated companies present at the fair, in ever-increasing numbers every year, who for the first time will be able to use the consortium exhibition space to organize meetings with customers, partners or the press.
In a global context in which wine consumption is declining – with France itself recording a per capita decrease in favor of beers, cocktails and lighter wines – Pinot Grigio DOC Delle Venezie represents a winning alternative in response to new market trends. Thanks to its light nature, moderate alcohol content and versatility, this wine, for its ability to accompany every occasion, establishes itself as the ideal choice for modern consumers who prefer a fresh and casual style of consumption.
After Paris, the Delle Venezie DOC Consortium will continue its international promotion in North America, in collaboration with IEEM, partner of the
Simply Italian Great Wines events. On February 24 in Miami and February 26 in Dallas, the Consortium will bring the Pinot Grigio DOC Delle Venezie to the center of masterclasses dedicated to wine professionals and enthusiasts, consolidating its presence on the US market.
Canada will be the following stop, with a special focus on the Vancouver International Wine Festival, one of the most dynamic and awaited wine events in the country. Here, the Consortium has scheduled an evening dedicated to the trade public and the specialized press that will be held on Tuesday 25 February at the Taste of Legacy, while the following day a lunch for buyers and professionals of the sector will take place at the Pan Pacific Hotel, followed by an evening event open to consumers at the Vancouver Club.
The promotion of Pinot Grigio Delle Venezie will then return to Europe with the usual participation in ProWein (Pavilion 15-stand A64), from 16 to 18 March in Düsseldorf, with Germany which, with a share of over 10% of total exports, confirms itself as the third destination country for the appellation.
In April, the Consortium will close the four-month period with participation in Vinitaly (Pavilion 5-stand F2): these days for the second year will see Pinot Grigio protagonist in the historic center of Verona thanks to the Pinot Grigio DOC Delle Venezie Wine Bar, set up in Piazza dei Signori in partnership with Vinitaly and the City. This event, which in the previous edition recorded over 10 thousand presences, represents a unique opportunity to bring the general public closer to the denomination, underlining the attention and strategic importance of the Italian domestic market.
Stefano Sequino, Director of the Delle Venezie DOC Consortium, comments: “The Consortium continues with its promotion and communication operations both abroad and in Italy: this is a strategic activity to consolidate mature markets, solicit emerging markets and enhance our Pinot Grigio DOC Delle Venezie and its production territories. Also for 2025 – continued Sequino – our calendar includes events in Italy, a market to be strengthened in which we need to transfer the potential and values of Pinot Grigio DOC Delle Venezie to consumers, buyers, press and professionals in the sector”.
