Provence’s Valentine’s Menu Speaks the Language of Love

FOOD IS THE ULTIMATE LOVE LANGUAGE
AT PROVENCE MARINASIDE

In the words of famed French novelist and playwright Honoré de Balzac
“L’amour est la poésie des sens.”

Food has always been the ultimate love language. The French understand this instinctively, and Provence Marinaside’s Owner/Chef Jean-Francis Quaglia lives by it. For him, cooking and sharing a meal is an act of care and connection — a way of bringing people together through warmth, flavour, and generosity. “We wouldn’t be in this business, if we weren’t passionate about cooking for people and sharing a bit of love with every dish,” he says.

On February 14th join Chef Jean-Francis and his team of incurable romantics for a Valentine’s Day Dinner that is sure to delight all the senses with an elegant menu celebrating romance, terroir, and craft.  Priced at $145 pp for seven courses, guests are invited to immerse themselves in an evening of l’amour where refined French cuisine meets thoughtfully curated wines—each pairing designed to elevate the moment and celebrate the art of togetherness.

Get your evening off to a romantic start with one of the Cocktails pour l’Amour created by Asst. Wine Director/ Bar Manager Ryan Johnson such as The Paris Wife (flor de caña white rum, lime juice, maraschino liqueur, aromatized framboise priced at $16) or a glass of one of the menu’s featured Champagnes or Sparkling Wines.

The job of pairing a special dinner such as this with the perfect wines is a project eagerly embraced by Wine Director Joshua Carlson. The Valentine’s Menu includes an optional wine pairing for an additional $105 pp. “This pairing menu is more than a meal – it is an exploration of French terroir, thoughtful craftsmanship, and the shared joy of exceptional food and wine. Designed to impress, educate, and delight, it promises a Valentine’s experience that lingers long after the final glass,” says Carlson.

The full wine pairing is optional. Guests may wish instead to celebrate with an individual glass or single bottle of one of the bubbles showcased in Apéritif de la Saint Valentin section of the menu. Prices range from $25-$38 per glass and $105 – $165 per bottle.

Celebrate your ‘someone special’ with Provence’s Valentine’s Dinner – available one night only on February 14. This will be the only menu served at Provence Marinaside that night. The restaurant requests that guests respect this is an adults-only event.
