DEVOUR – eat, drink, and be social.

Kelowna foodies have eagerly marked their social calendars for March 7 as Kelowna’s highly anticipated decadent social night-out DEVOUR returns!

The event’s promoter, Social Magnet Productions, market DEVOUR as, a culinary showcase for social foodies, featuring the Okanagan’s best chefs, mixologists, winemakers, master distillers, brew masters and purveyors of fine food and drink in a unique social setting.

The inaugural event last March witnessed a sold-out crowd indulge on the finest food and drink the Okanagan has to offer and created quite a buzz in Kelowna’s social foodie scene. “The 2015 line- up will live up to all the expectations”, says Event Director, Holly Dober. “All of the 2014 favorites are returning together with many exciting new Presenters. The event has really caught the attention of the best of the best in the Okanagan culinary scene and they are all bringing their best to DEVOUR this year.”

As an open tasting event, attendees will pay a single admission fee to indulge in this unique culinary experience. “It is a cocktail party, a fine dinner at the best local restaurant and a night on the town with friends, all rolled into one” says Dober, “Grab your friends, get dressed-up and get ready to eat, drink, and be social!”

In addition to the unique social experience promised to attendees, Devour will provide a stage for the Okanagan’s best culinary talent to present their skills and products to discerning guests.

All of the confirmed 49 Presenters will be leaders in their field and will compete in a friendly competition in the categories of Best Bite, Best Sip and Best Pairing. Attendees will also have the opportunity to cast their vote for people’s choice in each of the three categories. “Everyone is a food and drink connoisseur” says Dober, “people love the opportunity to vote for their favorites.”

Tickets are selling out quickly, but a few lucky social foodies may still buy tickets through the event’s website at www.devourkelowna.ca. Tickets are $110. All guests must be 19 years of age or older. No ticket sales available at the door.
