Van Dusen Botanical Gardens to benefit from wine and song
|
Summerland area wineries from the Bottleneck Drive Winery Association are packing their bags and getting ready to head to Vancouver to raise funds for one of Vancouver’s most treasured spaces.
|
This Thursday, VanDusen Botanical Gardens will be the beautiful surroundings for the first ever Wine in the Garden fundraiser event.
More than 75 wines from Summerland’s Bottleneck Drive in the Okanagan will be poured alongside food pairings from Truffles Fine Foods.
As they sip and savour, attendees will sway to the silky vocals of TV personality and vocalist Dawn Chubai, who will perform songs from her new album Under The Covers.
A silent auction benefiting VanDusen and an opportunity to explore the gorgeous gardens in all their spring glory will round out the evening.
