WINE, FOOD AND ROMANCE
MISSION HILL FAMILY ESTATE PRESENTS
SPECIAL EVENTS IN FEBRUARY
Mission Hill Family Estate proudly announces special culinary events and offers taking place in February.
These exciting additions to the winery’s calendar include a new monthly dinner series launching during Valentine’s week, plus an ongoing themed Chef’s Dinner Series that continues with two dates next month. In addition, the winery has curated special Valentine’s Day wine bundles, available for shipping throughout Canada.
‘Celebrate Love’ Valentine’s Dinners
Fine wine and an indulgent, delicious meal are synonymous with Valentine’s Day – and are all the better when they’re enjoyed in a memorable, romantic setting. Mission Hill is primed to deliver exactly that with its ‘Celebrate Love’ dinners taking place on February 12 and 14. Celebrate in style with the person – or people – you appreciate most.
This four-course, wine-paired affair begins with welcome wine served under the stars at Mission Hill’s dramatic Keystone Arch. Menu highlights include Dungeness Crab and Side Stripe Shrimp leek bisque; Bison Loin aged on lavender and chamomile, with sunchokes and smoked sour cherries; and slow-cooked Pork Shoulder with foie gras, truffle jus ravioli, black garlic, and preserved beets. The finishing touch? Your take-home fifth course: a perfect pairing of Exhilaration Brut Rosé and a selection of Kelowna’s beloved Karat chocolate.
February 12 & 14 at 6pm; $249 per guest. Reserve here.
Chef’s Dinner Series
Executive Chef Patrick Gayler and the Mission Hill Family Estate culinary brigade are bringing back an extended winter run of their popular themed, wine-paired dinner events. The February events in the series will showcase Ocean Wise Seafood – fish dishes with a focus on sustainability and “the best of bivalves” (better known as mussels, clams, scallops, and oysters).
As a tasty bonus, guests will receive the recipe, how-to video link, and pro tips to recreate the evening’s showcase dish in their home kitchen.
February 25 & 26 at 6pm; $199 per guest. Reserve here.
