On Saturday September 27 at 6h00, a reception will kick off an evening during which 8 chefs will prepare 8 delicious dishes in 8 professional kitchens at the Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts (PICA)

MYSTERY CHEFS:

Chef 1 – I am a sophisticated bohemian who just published a cookbook.  My home is on Vancouver Island… Who am I?

Chef 2 – I opened my eponymous restaurant in a downtown hotel… who am I?

Chef 3 – I took over as executive chef at a restaurant that is a beloved Vancouver institution… and I love cooking clams! Who am I?

Chef 4 – I used my own steam to get across the country and cook all over Canada! Who am I?

Chef 5 – I was chef of the year in 2009, used to work at the French Laundry and I stated in ink that I love octopus… who am I?

Chef 6 – I was the first chef to create a menu for a Canadian restaurant based on the 100-mile diet… I love Main St. Who am I?

Chef 7- I came to Vancouver last year to judge a cooking competition. I was born in Montreal but I now live in Toronto. Who am I?

Chef 8 – I worked with Daniel Boulud in Montreal, Toronto & New York. I now find my “Place” in Vancouver – who am I?
