Canadian Concert Series brings the beats to Tinhorn Creek in 2017

Soulful sounds and indie rock royalty coming to the Tinhorn Creek vineyard amphitheater this summer

Tinhorn Creek Vineyards is pleased to announce the return of its Canadian Concert Series for 2017, with a highly anticipated line-up of soulful sounds and funky tunes from Canadian bands, including celebrated roots-rock-reggae band Big Sugar.

Toast Canada’s top musical talents with award-winning Canadian wines while taking in the spectacular views of the southern Okanagan Valley. Kicking off on May 27, the 2017 Canadian Concert Series will bring to the stage The Boom Booms ($30) for some sensual indie soul tunes from the Vancouver sextet. On June 24, Toronto’s Julian Taylor Band brings a modern fusion of R’n’B and rock’n’roll ($35) and on July 22, the John Welsh Band ($40) will spread the love with feel-good guitar-led songs. Indie rock royalty band the Mounties ($45) take the stage on August 26: the Canadian supergroup is made up of singer-songwriter Hawksley Workman, Hot Hot Heat’s Steve Bays and Ryan Dahle of Limblifter. The September 9th grand finale concert features Big Sugar, renowned for their roaring live performances that keep crowds up on their dancing feet.

With advance bookings, guests are welcome to enjoy a meal at the award-winning Miradoro Restaurant, perched on the scenic Tinhorn Creek Vineyards estate. Tacos del Norte food truck from Penticton will also be on site to offer tasty tacos and Tinhorn Creek wines will be available for purchase by the glass and by the bottle.
