The Canada Line is a great way to get around the city. If you enjoy going for a stroll or if you are an avid walker you will find even more to enjoy within the reaches of The Canada Line Stations.
One of my favourite walks is from Olympic Village Station to B.C. Place Stadium or Rogers Arena. Whether to a soccer game, football game, hockey game, concert, or trade show it is always a pleasant way to go.
On nights of #sportsontheline you will join throngs of happy game fans who walk en masse to B.C. Place Stadium or Rogers Arena. It’s fun and boisterous when so many fans all head in the same direction.
Another good starting point for a walk is the King Edward Station. A good brisk walk takes you to Nat Bailey Park or Queen Elizabeth Park. Both parks are popular Vancouver landmarks. Think about taking your out of town guests along with you, it’s always more fun with company.
From 16th Avenue north on Cambie Street there are many good restaurants, both casual and fine dining, to choose from. You can either walk north from King Edward Station or walk south up the hill from the Broadway/City Hall Station.
So combine your next trip on The Canada Line with a little stroll, you’ll be glad you did!
