Osoyoos’ LaStella Winery and 3 Phase Adventures partner for SUP & SIP adventure package
Arrival by vehicle for a wine tasting is no longer the only option with the 2014 summer launch of LaStella winery and 3 Phase Adventures’ SUP & SIP package. Combining the hottest new water sport on Canada’s warmest lake, with a sampling of true Tuscan wines from LaStella, the only winery perched right on the shores of Osoyoos Lake.
The two-hour adventure is available through the summer; guests meet at 3 Phase Adventures’ Cottonwood Beach location, an hour later guests arrive at the shores of LaStella Winery, slightly north of Osoyoos. The one-hour paddle takes small groups of novice and intermediate paddlers out onto the lake, always in view of the Tuscan-inspired winery. Upon returning to shore, guests leave the boards on the beach and walk through the tumbling hillside vines to enjoy a taste of La Dolce Vita during a one-hour premium wine tasting on LaStella’s terrace.
“We have enjoyed partnering with the LaStella winery team to create something truly unique for our guests. Nowhere else can you be soaking up the true serenity of standup paddling and moments later be sipping wine on a stunning Tuscan terrace – well except perhaps Italy!” said Jason Jennings, owner and adventure guide at 3 Phase Adventures.
SUP & SIP packages are available by contacting the booking office and run until September, and cost $85 per person, which includes board rental, instruction, premium wine tasting and transport to and from Osoyoos’ Cottonwood Beach. For more information and to book, visit: www.3phaseadventures.com.
