Record Number of Craft Brewers & Cideries confirmed for 2016 Fest of Ale

A record number of craft brewers & cider makers will soon be heading to Penticton to showcase their best at the 21st annual Okanagan Fest of Ale.

 

The Okanagan Fest of Ale takes place April 8 & 9, 2016 in the waterfront city of Penticton. Guests of the annual beer and cider tasting festival can look forward to sampling a selection of over 150 lagers, stouts, ciders and cask ales from 50+ of the regions finest craft brewers.

The list of participating breweries includes representation of local favourites from all corners of the province, 13 of the 52 confirmed to participate will be attending the event for the first time, one so new their name and neighbourhood have yet to be released.

In addition to great craft beer and cider, the 2-day event features culinary delights from 12 area restaurateurs, fabulous entertainment, single day admission, weekend passes and great deals on ticket & accommodation packages. Operating as a non-profit society, and managed by a Volunteer Board of Directors, the Okanagan Fest of Ale Society hosts an annual Consumer Craft Beer and Cider Tasting that functions to support and promote the growing world of quality craft brewery products, promote local tourism and support charitable organizations within the Regional District of the Okanagan-Similakameen.
