The Granville Island Public Market is a Vancouver icon that celebrates the food bounty of the West Coast. Once again this year, Dockside Restaurant at the Granville Island Hotel has drawn inspiration from the market in presenting its Mother’s Day Marketplace Brunch Buffet.
Built around food stations which evoke the bounty of the famous Public Market, guests can choose from over 70 selections made from scratch like omelettes, waffles and Eggs Benedict from “The Marketplace Kitchen”, local meats at “The Butcher”, and fresh seafood from “The Wharf”.
These stations are complemented by a range of crisp salads, fresh baked breads and pastries and a stunning dessert selection which includes Dockside’s signature milk chocolate fountain.
Dockside’s dining room offers unparalleled views of False Creek through panoramic, wrap-around windows. On sunny days, there’s no better place to enjoy the day than Dockside’s patio, recently voted “Best Patio in Vancouver” for an unprecedented sixth straight year in the Golden Plate Awards.
Once brunch is over, a wander along the seawall or through the artisan workshops of Granville Island is a great way to get the blood moving again.
