Serendipity’s Katie O’Kell Completes Harvest in New Zealand; Receives UC Davis Certificate
The winemaking industry in BC has many reasons to celebrate. Serendipity Winery‘s Katie O’Kell has just returned from a practicum at New Zealand’s ultra-modern Delegat Wine Estate, processing the 2016 vintage. Just before this, she completed her winemaking certificate from UC Davis in California, receiving an impressive 100% on her final exam. O’Kell brings this newly-won experience to her family-owned, Naramata-based winery.
