A Hot, Haunted and Hoppy Halloween Await As Hot Glass Cold Beer Brings Craft Beer Tasting To The Next Level!
On Saturday, October 29 Terminal City Glass Co-op (TCGC) will present the third annual Hot Glass Cold Beer event, pairing craft beer tasting with glassblowing demonstrations, a carved pumpkin contest, a costume contest, and more!
Date: Saturday, October 29, 2016
Time: 7:00 – 10:00 pm
Location: Terminal City Glass Co-op, 1191 Parker Street, Vancouver, BC
Cost: $55.00 per person. Cost includes a hand-blown taster glass made and by glass artist Scott McDougall, whose design was selected by a jury of brewery representatives. Additional glasses are available for purchase at the event.

Held at the TCGC studio in East Vancouver, Hot Glass Cold Beer presents limited and seasonal craft beers from nine local breweries: Bomber, Callister, Faculty, Postmark, Powell Street, Steel & Oak, Steamworks, Storm and Strange Fellows.
TCGC member artists will demonstrate how to create pumpkins from molten glass, and will also blow glass into an actual hollowed-out pumpkin. They will also create a fire-breathing glass jack-o-lantern!
With Halloween right around the corner, guests can enter their pre-carved pumpkin in the People’s Choice contest for the chance to win a hand-blown glass bowl made by TCGC members.
Funds raised at Hot Glass Cold Beer will help support community-building activities at TCGC like artist slide shows, open houses, and other events that promote glass as an art form.

Terminal City Glass Co-op is Canada’s first and only nonprofit glass arts co-op. We offer courses in glassblowing, flameworking, beadmaking and sandblasting to everyone age 16+, and provide access to glassmaking equipment and resources for the development of emerging and established glass artists.
