FARMERS MARKETS' TO GIVE AWAY FOOD TRUCK GOLDEN TICKET TO LUCKY SHOPPER THIS FEBRUARY

Vancouver Farmers Markets (VFM) are giving away a food truck lunch at the markets every week for a year to one lucky winner during their 6th Annual Food Truck February event. Starting this Saturday, Feb 4 at Nat Bailey and Sunday, Feb 5 at Hastings Park Winter Markets, food truck fans who purchase a meal at the markets each week during Food Truck February will be entered to win The Golden Ticket – a 52 week pass to the world of local food and global flavours that VFM food carts have on offer.

VFM organizers will be doubling the number of food trucks onsite at both winter market locations during Food Truck February – giving shoppers ample options to fill up their Food Truck Passports, available for pick up at the markets, to enter the contest. Market attendees are also encouraged to tag their food truck lunches #foodtruckfeb on Instagram – each post will be entered to win a VFM World Traveller Pack containing a reusable coffee mug, a limited edition canvas tote, and a set of Got it! produce bags.

Other Food Truck February highlights include a visit from the Chinese Lion Dancers this weekend at Nat Bailey and Hastings Park, in celebration of the Lunar New Year. The lucky dragon will be chowing down on local greens at food trucks and market stalls in exchange for good fortune and prosperity in the year to come.
