The first restaurant of its kind in Vancouver, No. 1 Gaoler’s Mews has announced a new series of events taking place June 22, July 27 and August 24, allowing culinary aficionados three more opportunities to claim a coveted seat at the city’s most exclusive dining experience.
Hosted once per month in a 19th-century brick-and-beam heritage building located in the historic cobblestone courtyard behind L’Abattoir, the intimate and immersive No. 1 Gaoler’s Mews experience is led by renowned Chef/Owner Lee Cooper, who prepares and presents a 10-course menu of his signature French-via-West-Coast cuisine before the eyes of a group of only eight guests.
No. 1 Gaoler’s Mews offers diners an ultra-indulgent affair from start to finish with added flourishes such as a personalized welcome package mailed in advance, fine crystal glassware and table settings, custom décor and keepsake gifts, in addition to premium wine pairings selected by L’Abattoir Restaurant Director and Vancouver magazine’s 2017 Sommelier of the Year Lisa Haley.

No. 1 Gaoler’s Mews’ 2018 dinner series continues on Friday, June 22, with subsequent events set to take place on Friday, July 27 and Friday, August 24. Tickets to each edition of No. 1 Gaoler’s Mews are $275 per person, which includes a 10-course dining experience with wine pairings, keepsake gifts, taxes and gratuity. Tickets will be released on the first of the month one month prior to each event at www.gaolersmews.com beginning May 1 for the June 22 event.
