A Taste of Paris this Christmas at Ladurée

Ladurée celebrates the holiday season with new Bûchette de Noël, winter brunch, and limited-edition boxes

Experience a taste of Parisian-style Christmas this holiday season at Ladurée in Vancouver as the world-renowned French patisserie launches several new winter exclusives: a limited-edition brunch menu, Scandinavian-themed macaron boxes, and exquisite Bûche de Noël and Bûchette de Noël creations.

“Christmas in Paris is known to be enchanting and magical,” says Olesya Krakhmalyova of Ladurée Canada, who opened the first Canadian store on Robson St. in 2016. “We always want to continue this spirit into our stores, and this year, we are thrilled to have our executive pastry chef Mickaël de Monte create new and classic pastries just for holiday brunch in Vancouver. There is nothing quite like the taste of Ladurée’s distinct and familiar flavours. The Bûche de Noëls are wonderful for Christmas dessert, as a hostess gift, or as Bûchette de Noëls during breakfast or brunch. And, of course, there are many gift giving options available at Ladurée.”

Ladurée winter brunch ($45 per person) is available for the month of December starting December 5th and includes: tea, coffee, or hot chocolate; two macarons; basket of mini viennoiseries; Croque-Monsieur or French Toast; and finish with one of the new Bûchette de Noëls (personal size bûche de Noëls). For an additional $10, guests can also select a Ladurée cocktail or Gardet champagne to toast to the season. All Ladurée pastries are also available a la carte to-go for those who wish to brunch at home with friends and family.

The festive and stunning Bûche de Noël / Bûchette de Noël creations, available starting December 5th, showcases Ladurée’s attention-to-detail and expertise in pastries. Available in both large (from $72 for 6 to 8 people) and personal size (from $11), flavours include Pistachio Macaron; Rose and Raspberry Marie-Antoinette with rose mousseline cream, raspberry jam, and lychees; Louise with soft milk chocolate biscuit, mousse, and cream milk chocolate; and Fleur Noire with Sacher biscuit, chocolate feuilletine, vanilla cream and Caribbean chocolate mousse, topped with a dark chocolate leaf and dark chocolate petals.

The limited-edition holiday boxes (from $35) feature Scandinavian-themed red, white, and gold designs and motifs, celebrating the brand’s recent collaboration with Norway’s renowned pastry chef Sverre Saetre.

Other holiday gifting options at Ladurée include its timeless macaron boxes (from $27) and its collection of luxury hampers (gift boxes starting at $108) available in a range of themes and colours and filled with delectable Ladurée treats, such as macarons, nougat, tea, jam, and chocolate. Customers can personalize their own hampers or select from a Ladurée menu. In addition, the iconic Ladurée macaron pyramids (from $130) are perfect for holiday parties and dessert bars.

Vancouver Ladurée Boutique and Tea Salons are located at 1141 Robson St., and inside Holt Renfrew at 737 Dunsmuir St. Pastry selection may vary depending on the location. Pre-orders welcome.
