Tableau Bar Bistro Releases #GoodFrance Menu
West End restaurant celebrates French gastronomy with a five-course tasting menu of Gallic classics on Thursday, March 21st
Award-winning French restaurant Tableau Bar Bistro has announced its menu for the fifth annual #GoodFrance #GoutFrance international culinary festival.
On Thursday, March 21, the West End restaurant will join 3,300 bistros, fine diners, cafés and eateries in more than 150 countries in one of the world’s largest culinary events by serving a special menu of classic French and French-inspired dishes that can be paired with French wines and bubbles.
Chef Catherine Stewart, who returned to Canada last year from a decade abroad — her most recent post being at Château La Lagune in Bordeaux — has created a classic, French-inspired five-course “Tableau d’Hôte” especially for the evening.
By marrying local produce with French techniques, Chef Stewart’s #GoodFrance menu offers the best of both words for $80 per person. For an additional $40 per person, Beverage Director, J.S. Dupuis has created a complementary wine pairing with both popular and unexpected pours.
The #GoodFrance menu is available at Tableau Bar Bistro on Thursday, March 21 only, as part of the international #GoodFrance culinary festival.
Reservations are recommended, as seating is limited. Reservations can be made online via OpenTable.ca or by phone at 604-639-8692.
