Dilawri Group of Companies announces 3rd annual Ride & Drive Gala 

– Gala in Support of The Ride to Conquer Cancer

– All Proceeds donated to BC Cancer Foundation

Dilawri Group of Companies (Dilawri), Canada’s largest automotive group, today announced that the 3rd Annual Ride & Drive Gala, presented by Allwest Insurance, will take place on Thursday, July 25, 2019, from 7:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. at Mercedes-Benz Vancouver – 550 Terminal Ave. The Dilawri Ride & Drive Gala has been created to raise awareness and donations for the BC Cancer Foundation. 100 per cent of the proceeds raised, including ticket sales, donations, and auction items from the Ride & Drive Gala, will be donated to the BC Cancer Foundation. Ride & Drive Gala tickets are $50, and can be purchased online at https://bit.ly/dcg2019.

For its fifth consecutive year, Dilawri is the National Vehicle Sponsor for The Ride to Conquer Cancer, which is a 2-day, 200 KM bike ride in an effort to support the BC Cancer Foundation. Funds raised from the Gala and the Ride to Conquer Cancer will directly support leading cancer clinicians, scientists, and researchers whose search for new discoveries, and improved patient outcomes.

“We are excited to be hosting this year’s Ride & Drive Gala for the very first time at the Mercedes-Benz Vancouver dealership,” said Jesstine McInnis, Regional Marketing Manager, Dilawri Group of Companies. “It will once again be an upscale event at a grand location, with all proceeds going to the Ride to Conquer Cancer.”

Vancouver sports-talk radio station TSN 1040’s Matt Sekeres & Blake Price will be the MCs for the Ride & Drive Gala, and there will be live entertainment, specialty canapés, refreshments, a photo booth, and live and silent auction items. A few of the auction and raffle items include:

  • Glashutte Ladies Collection: Pavonina Date Watch, by Montecristo Jewellers – a raffle prize. $5,850 value
  • Live art-piece to be painted by Yared Nigussu during the Gala and will be auctioned off during the live auction. $4,000 approx. value
  • Full-day taste of the track – Vancouver Island Motorsport Circuit track experience. $1195 value
  • Two night stay at Delta Whistler Village Suites. $500 value
  • Four tickets to Luxury Supercar Weekend. $400 value
  • Two Surmesur suits – a raffle prize and a silent auction item.
