BC Wine Studio launches three new wines for Summer
Summers in the South Okanagan are long and hot, and BC Wine Studio has created three new wines which are perfect for warm days, patio time, and favourite summer dishes. Each of the wines, created by winemaker Mark Simpson, perfectly captures the new-world, fruit-driven style of his Siren’s Call collection.
All three wines are available now at selected private retailers, local farmer’s markets and at www.bcwinestudio.ca alongside the 2015 Siren’s Call Syrah which recently finished second in a blind tasting of the best BC Syrah’s at 2019 BC Iconic Reds Syrah Competition.
Sauvignon Blanc Semillon 2018
Siren’s Call Sauvignon Blanc Sémillon 2018 is an elegant and refined interpretation of this most classic of white blends. It features grassy herbal notes and a pleasant floral aroma from 76% Sauvignon Blanc, balanced with tropical notes of pineapple, lemon, lime and guava from 24 % Sémillon which was aged in French Oak for extra depth and character. With all the grapes originating from Osoyoos, this wine evokes the heat and clear blue skies which define its famous summers.
